After the escalation of hostilities last Friday, Iran has sent several waves of various drones to attack targets inside of Israel. It is difficult to verify the composition of these strikes and the types of drones used. The Israeli Defense Force has released some videos of drone intercepts from what appear to be Israeli Apache attack helicopters. Given the slow speed of these drones, helicopters make better interception platforms than jets. However, due to their slower speed could struggle if Iran were to launch waves in large numbers.
Iran has many types and variants of UAS in use and is likely expending old stock in initial waves, from video clips that have been posted so far would indicate. The now well known Shahed-136 is seen in several intercepts.
